Pepper (Piper nigrum) is vines. The fruit is used as spices in cooking. There are two types pepper in the market, black pepper and white pepper. Both of them have different harvest time. Harvest the fruit when it is still green pepper produce black pepper. While the resulting white pepper from the pepper fruit is ripe. Tend to be more spicy black pepper. In Indonesia, pepper are extensively planted in Bangka Island.
